By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that relatively moist and unstable conditions continue to dominate the weather.
The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny with some cloudy spells today and cloudy at times tonight. A few showers and thunderstorms will occur mostly offshore, with activity being generally isolated over the mainland.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 84 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 76 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be gusty, blowing East-Southeast between 10-20 knots and the sea state will be moderate to rough. Operators of small crafts are advised to exercise caution for occasional gusty winds and rough seas.
There will be a high tide at 10:27 a.m. and a low tide at 3:18 p.m.
The sun will set at 5:34 p.m. and the moon will rise at 5:41 a.m.
